OK, I'll probably be branded a right-wing sh*t but I'm getting mighty sick of the reporting (by the BBC especially) of the demise of this outfit.  Can someone explain to me how if this mob was so vital did disadvantaged kids and families outside of Peckham, Bristol and Liverpool get by without its help.

Listened this morning to a 20-year old (not my definition of a kid btw) moaning about the loss of the £20 a week they used to hand out (last week we heard from other kids how they all spent the money on dope but what the heck) and telling the reporter how KC helped her with her citizenship application!!!??? Wtf.
