Oneaday tempted the Gods and the Gods have answered. He has held out in noble fashion but a mixture of unworthiness and hubris has brought the wrath of Unifier and his Gods to vent their anger and in the process lifting Unifier to a season best position and in turn helping fellow knight, S8, up one chair towards King Arthur.
Ian's season continues to bear the hallmark of one with Leprosy as he dies a slow and painful death...indeed death may not even catch up with him, so slow and painful it is.
Exeter and MMM were like the kids in the lucky bag with one one pick left.
Worcester, GHF, TLA ,and Andy all felt discretion was the better part of valour and departed slightly richer but hardly weight down with coin.
All hail S8. He has toppled Oneadays 100 year reign at the top and looks strong coming to the business end of the season.
Oneaday, is upset but has welcomed the international break by taking his entire squad to Disney Florida-why not, he said, and added, I am the rightful heir.
Unifier, looks tremendously strong too and suddenly its a 3 horse race. Worcester and Andy refuse to give up the chase however and have pledged a 'top 4 finish or our heads' to the fans.

And its tight as a pair of nylons on your favourite BBW...yes, its that kind of league.
S8, increases what is a skinny lead, while Oneaday and Unifier are so close its like watching a tag team. Ian. seemingly just a voyeur of recent weeks has put himself in front of the camera and looks to be performing without any erection issues once again.
In mid table its a veritable menage a trois btw , MMM, Exeter and TLA.
Only Andy, GHF and Worcester are left watching ankle and nail fetish sites as they literally bring up the rear.
A special round of applause ladies and Gentleman for MMM. His is the first team to break 200 mark in the 2's column. I know how proud he will be on behalf of his players. Join me in saying , 'well done MMM', its been another blistering season.
Big hitters Exeter and Oneaday both pick up valuable points. Oneaday goes back tot he headof the pack and Exeter is this weeks big mover.
Losing ground in the title race are S8 and Unifier. Surey, next weeks fixture is a must win for both teams if they are to stay in touching distance of the irrepressible and self proclaimed king of Football.
Further down the league is Andy... but there are reports from abroad that he has called in Italian supremo Vilaanio Bossio mario Buttachino Marini innocnetio Mussolini, in a purely advisory role.
Please note, I have reduced the league table to 10 as you have all continued the game and those underneath 10th place have not played since week 30. They can of course continue to predict but for the sake of the competition I thought this would add more bite.
One week to go and still the title could go to any of the top 3. Oneaday looks to have had it sewn up for several weeks but S8 and Unifier have not given up the chase with those two changing places again this week.
By my calculations there is a possible 200 points to play for including the end of season Bonus.
Good luck as we get ready to welcome the ultimate champion of the ultimate football prediction challenge.
Huge congratulations to Oneaday. He has really proved himself head and shoulders above the rest. Not only has there been some stunning and even uncanny performances that have left the opposition scratching their heads but the consistency that makes champions has been evident throughout the entire season. Rich congratulations... and remuneration await if only he would use his email...well done indeed.
Also, what a great performance from S8 and Unifier. There battle for 2nd went to the wire. The humble Unifier never one for the media eventually out manoeuvred the suave and sophisticated Don of Sheffield . Its only a rumour but the last few seasons have seen mysterious disappearances of anyone who beats S8 to the post. Maybe thats why Unifier has kept a dignified distance.
And, to everyone else, thank you.
Notably to GHF who manages to fire up the computer once a week whiskey and cigar in hand and produce intuitive results that at times blind the opposition.
To TLA, who has had a quite stunning second half to the season.
To Worcester; His emotional displays have given us all sleepless nights but no one can deny the entertainment value he brings to the beautiful game.
Andy, where do we begin. An enigma in a hat. No one can fathom his system but there is always the feeling that next week someone is gunna get a thrashing but as yet we remain stuck in unhealthy anticipation.
MMM, who lit up the league for the last few seasons only to fall out with his players and blow up each year. A deeply passionate manager who perhaps needs just that little bit of whatever Oneaday has and a champion he could be.
Exeter, whos millions support all the teams and infrastructure of this glorious institution. May his star rise and true North be forever in his hert.
Here it is folks.
ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO OUR CHAMPION AND LEADER ONEADAY.
