Ian's 3 match spell at the dizzy summit is ended by S8. The pressure gets to all of us and now its S8'S turn.
Jumping 2 places S8 makes a worthy leader coming on the back of an excellent run of form rather than the misfortunes of others.
Spare a thought for that lovable rogue Tony. His head must be sore tonight after falling 3 places.
Unifier, Exeter, Millmoormagic will all be enjoying a cup of tea after a step up one place.
Ian, is down...1 place.
TLA , (despite an excellent showing tonight remains transfixed in 12th and Andy (doing unexpectedly well this season) remains in 5th. Worcester, sickly, towd codger, and glass half full all remain static but full of potential energy. oneaday (no one knows of what) remains in the chasing pack despite a dismal showing.
The table wont be settled for long as we head into a very busy period indeed.
Hold your hats on, buckle up and shout yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Worcester dumps his pregnant girlfriend and star of rom-com, whos baby is it anyway! And leaps to 10th.
Ian, and S8 take advantage of Exeters and Oneadays secret weekend by lake Tahoe that has tongues literately wagging in LA.
MMM, comes out of retirement and makes his first Buddy film in 20 years to take a golden globe for best death scene in the has-been category.
Tony, loses in contract with Fox entertainment due to his on-going issues and is unceremoniously dropped from his highly rated doc-umentary series, 'How Women prospered in/on an/the page/age of Men'. He plans to sue but his wife Margaret has been in secret talks with the National examiner and plans her own mini doc-u-drama, 'Tony makes it glow in the dark'-a secret life of dark examinations and wild metaphor's' in tribute to the vastly experienced and lamented reporter..
Andy, has been visiting Roman Polanski and swapping photos and memories to celebrate his flight from extradition.
GHFs box office appeal wanes in light of side-kicks TLAs rise to prominence. Rumours abound that next seasons finale of 'me and my Dad'; an ailing study of life under siege, will feature the enigmatic TLA in her own star role.
Finally, Unifier and Sickly child have launched their own independent label that will champion the alternative side of corporate Americas power vacuum. 'Losers have feelings' and 'How to lose and win at the same time'-a cautionary tale for a long but miserable life, will air in Botswana in February 2017.

Perhaps the highest average score the league has seen this week. Practice? Luck?
I once read that to be an expert in any discipline one needs to put in 10,000 hours.
Does this mean those at the top are older?
Perhaps they have more experience with Logic?
Perhaps they are students of the Saturday sports result...West ham 1...AFC Bournemouth 1; east fife 5...forfar Atheltic 4...
So, here is a tip for those wanting to improve there results. Buy the 1972-20014 sports almanac and sitting up in bed, chant the results out page by page for at least 30 minutes each night. You will thank me.
Ian hangs on by a thread for the 3rd week in a row as S8 and Exeter lead the chasing pack.
Yes Folks! Just a goal either side separates 1st from 3rd.
The gaps all over the leagues are closing as we head into what promises to be a winter to remember.
Who will keep the chills away and who will head south for some inspiration.
congratulations to Smiler for becoming our newest believer and choosing to undergo our initiation to prove his worthiness.
He may only be in as a novice but what discoveries and personal power await him as his progression to level 7 becomes assured along with is generous donations.
Oneaday up 1
Unifier up 1
Worcester up 1
Sickly down 1
Andy down 1

With just one game to add to week 16 (Middlesbrough V QPR), here is the table as it stands
Firstly, Congratulations to smiler. Last week saw him stranded at the bottom, but now, he is cosy 4 places safe of the dreaded trap door. However, with the FA about to put out a final warning to Flicker and Heman for unfulfilled fixtures things could change dramatically.
Welcome to everyone's favourite Kid, Mr Ridgeway. Ive had many letters in my post bag this week and all of them bar one has been complimentary of The Kids entry into the world famous Millers Banter Prediction League. All I will say is that he should be afforded the same opportunity as everyone else.
Uppers and Downers.
well done to Millmoor Magic who at last has risen to the dizzy heights of last seasons promise. If he can keep his focus on his own game he might actually be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.
Equal whoops of joy go to the Glass half full clan who both had significant gains this week.
The tablets this week are being downed by Exeter whose self inflated promotion has taken a severe dent with a miserable outing at Gigg lane on a wet and cold and unsexy Thursday night clash, which saw him pick up a hamstring injury and 2 red cards. Can he recover in time for Saturdays crucial games?
S8 must be licking his wounds too. Charging up the table recently and looking like he might make his second appearance at the top of the championship , he instead was let down by some very poor defending and little threat up front-A miserable combination, I am sure you will agree. Still, form is temporary... Will S8 prove Paddy power wrong who have suddenly given him odds on for a a bottom half finish. What on earth do they know?
Keep going all. The fat lady is there to inspire you to excellence.

what the Hell. My conscious could not rest. No need for the A4 now sir.
More ups and downs than a yo-yo at a yo-yo convention in Soho.
Thats the quote from Andy Monium this week as he plummeted down the league only to see several players whirl past him in a fountain of sequins and lights.
Special Stringy mention goes to The Kid, AKA Ridge-way and Millmoor Magic. The former for his incredible feat of 5 spot on the erogenous zone x's, and the latter for his precise calculations in suggesting 22 men would simultaneously come to halt 235 times with just the touching of a referees lips on cold hard steel.
Uppers and Downers:
having a good time last weekend were party animals; all smiles for smiler, Bonding paying off for unifier, TLA's investments in Stringfellows and Onedays new book 'oneaday is not enough love for a happy marriage' shooting to the top of the best sellers.
At the GP'S this week for some Valium were: Exeter, GHF, Andy and Tony.
Ian remains on top but far from Perky after another average performance. Millmoor Magic is up close behind him after leaping over S8 which is making cosy but theres bound to be a fall out soon, said the little one.
Here is week 17s Millers Banter prediction league table; minus the friday result...between Hull and Derby.
Congratulations to Oneaday who spends his first night in the Paris Hilton surrounded by Beautiful Women and Champagne. Lets hope he can keep his feet on the ground and head up. Anything less would be undignified.
Remarkably the top 3 didnt score any Bonus points this week and with the hefty reward of 20 tickles on offer there have been some significant laughs further down the league.
It was also a fairly Bargain basement rush in the league proper with just 41 being enough to be top fixture predictor with Exeter and Sickly in a 3 legged race.
We had another league first with no one getting any points on the fixture between Burnley and Preston-is it time to reevaluate Burnelys part in your strategic thinking?
Well done to Oneaday who just holds on to his short and nasties for another week of pain.
