My lads were on international break, sent to the Scottish Highlands on a team building exercise to look for Rotherham United's playing signing policies. While exposed to the elements and taught to survive and team build, they were asked to participate in activities which they were utterly designed to fail and their mental state measured when management publicly advertised they battered the opposition. During leisure time Warney turned a blind eye to the Cadburys binges and e-cig fascination and at the end they partook in paintballing which the opposition wore Sombrero hats.
As if following the known (or imagined) laws of the universe the league table starts its cycle of contraction after an expansive start that saw Exeter and Ian fly away to the outer reaches. Remarkable in just 3 short weeks, Exeter has seen 40 point lead disappear faster than a pie in steve evans Mouth. He now finds himself not only out of the Champions league places, but fighting to hold on to the europa league. Surely, there must be a reason that he is refusing to comment on his decline. why is he refusing to set the record straight?. We all saw his press release that seemed to indicate neither himself nor anyone else was to 'blame' but his fans are far from happy and demand the truth. After all its the fans that pay is wages.
Oneaday, has taken advantage of Exeters silence on his 'personal issues' and S8 miller and Unifier are threatening to add shame to injury. surely, no man can bear the sudden decent that Exeter is enduring. Time will tell.
Mid table is close and Tony K could find himself in a Europa league spot come week 10.
Worcester continues his miserable run despite having access to the the wisdom of the current leader. Only a stubborn but admirable character could account for this failure to learn nearly a quater of the way in to the season.
Ian continues to shun the media and some say this wont endear him to fans and the wider public. The one quote we could find from 57 years ago might shed some light on his predisposition to preferring the shadows.
' I dont know what happend but I heard a sound and then the bright light overwhelmed me. I woke up in a strange place that had screens all around. The screens had numbers and names but I coudnt make them out clearly. There was a sharp ***** and I dont remember anything else until I regained consciousness 3 years later; I find myself where I am. some say I must have done it myself but there is no proff of that. Others like to think I am an undeserving case and suggest I am a puppet of some higher power or corporate monkey. They can think what they like. All I know is these are mine and they love me for what I am, not what I was or might be. Why do people find that so hard to accept?

Spare a thought for PIDG. Remaining just adrift of the peloton but working ever so hard to get back in touch he continues to train hard but rumours of laughs with the ladies and late nights in central London continue to impact on his genius. I know several seasoned journalists who think its a matter of time before he captures Worcester and one London based paper has tipped PIDG to come charging up the table when he connects his natural talent to the harsh environment of the league and completes the circuit and explodes into the top half. However, he must surely start to pay heed to the advice, otherwise he might find the terminals permanently short-circuited.

Congratulations are in order to Exeter. He not only regained second place but recorded the most ever correct results-4!
Huge congratulations also to Towd Codger. The wily old fox moved up 2 places but even more significantly he is in touch with the Europa league group-the gap from 10th to 6th is now only 13 points! Yes, 13!!! I know, its darn exciting.
S8 Miller continues to be ignored by the media but a quick glance at the table will reveal this is not a flash in the pan from the newly promoted outfit. They are just 2 points off 2nd spot with Oneaday only 2 points behind. One could not have scripted this!
PIDG had a decent week as the continued quest to hunt down Worcester and then the top spot by January continues. The gap to Worcester is now only 56. At the current rate our stat boys predict PIDG will be in the main pack by Saturday the 19th December.
I have had a few complaints this last several days, which, I shall suggest were primed by the enormous stress we have been under following the sudden departure of our dynamic duo. I wont be taking the matter any further. If you wish to appeal please write to the main office by no later than wednesday 7th october. suffice to say that I will however be keeping an eye on the betting practices of Tony and MMM. May I remind all players that it is an offense to place bets on any game that effects your standing in the league. You may remember last season that Bubbablubbamiller was docked 25 points (which ultimately cost him a play off place) for illegally betting on the outcome of the head to head between maccamiller and tinkywinkymiller. Of course, his winnings more than made up for his lost points and I now believe he resides in The Maldives with his concubine maichew asuchin. Crime yet again seems to be the winner.
Thank you all for staying the course over the first 10 games and making the league relevant and engaging. Good luck over the next 10 games.
Please place any predictions (below) by the end of week 11 of who will be top (1st) and who will be flop (last) by the end of round 20 for an extra bonus of 10 per correct guess (maximum of 20 points).
N.B. not including the current bottom two who were sadly kidnapped by wednesday fans and currently are enduring horrendous torture in their glass cage suspended over leppings lane, where they unfortunately have had their eyes super glued open and have to endure each and every game at hillsbrough this season. Im sorry but we will not be negotiating with piggies.

Oneaday are confident are being top of the pile after week 20. We have acted swiftly by appointing the fat one to the position of loan advisor. We are expecting an influx of young premier league players to be arriving shortly.
Ian's 3 match spell at the dizzy summit is ended by S8. The pressure gets to all of us and now its S8'S turn.
Jumping 2 places S8 makes a worthy leader coming on the back of an excellent run of form rather than the misfortunes of others.
Spare a thought for that lovable rogue Tony. His head must be sore tonight after falling 3 places.
Unifier, Exeter, Millmoormagic will all be enjoying a cup of tea after a step up one place.
Ian, is down...1 place.
TLA , (despite an excellent showing tonight remains transfixed in 12th and Andy (doing unexpectedly well this season) remains in 5th. Worcester, sickly, towd codger, and glass half full all remain static but full of potential energy. oneaday (no one knows of what) remains in the chasing pack despite a dismal showing.
The table wont be settled for long as we head into a very busy period indeed.
Hold your hats on, buckle up and shout yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...haaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
