Kempo, my opinion that's all. I think that the team was stronger last season. Arsenal and Morgan with Lafferty and Hunt a much stronger reliable defence than the one we have now. We miss Pringle in the middle, or at least Frecklington does. Smallwood has yet to recapture the form he showed towards the end of last season. We have almost no threat going forward.

Lastly, and in my opinion, we have a real issue with our current goalkeeper, despite what Mr E says. Roos is no where near as good as Martinez and Collin must be pulling his hair out if he can't play ahead of Roos.

All my opinion of course.

If I had to appraise the position as I see it I could not have stated it better than Axholme.  Agree 100%.

I feel very apprehensive before every game. I don't know what to expect next.

Will the players turn up and put in the proverbial shift?

Will the referee be playing the part of a big bad uncle in a Christmas pantomime, encouraging boos and hisses from the watching crowd?

Or will the referee be playing the part of the fair but firm headmaster in Tom Brown's School Days?

Does the referee lick his index finger, stick it into the air to see which way the wind is blowing to decide whether he is going to be

playing the good ref or bad ref on the day?

Who knows?

This is the ever changing face of football.

I find Flikers assessment refreshing however I have to add that I don't mind the millers losing. I never have. I do mind them not trying.

Last Saturday I felt like after half time I could have put my dockers on and played right back with more gusto and passion than our captain.

We need a captain that makes everyone want to play with the attitude of Kevin Ellison. He would run through a brick wall for the team. Granted he never had the ball at the other side of the rubble-wall but at least he tried.

 Lol
