I saw what Evans said about this coach and concluded that he was a great addition.

I have since seen some breakdowns of his past record which has allowed me to form an evidenced based opinion[something that I greatly value]

His record appears to be abysmal and he seems to have been associated with teams that have performed very poorly.

Looking at yesterdays performance, my mind is truly boggled as to what they have been practicing in training, presumably a strategy of total disarray and confusion.

Of course I dont know that much about Mr Black and thats why I would ask 'Exactly why did we appoint him?..what are his qualities?

On the face of it EB appears like a footballing gravedigger.  That said, appearances can be deceiving and he has a wealth of experience as player and manager.  I am a bit surprised that he was prepared to come here as only first team coach and also surprised that TS agreed.  Clearly what the club needs is a director of football to oversee SE's bizarre transfer dealings.

I share your worries mate. It seems to me most things are talked up, generating expectation keeping the fans buoyed up, 'this player is class', that 'player is Premiership material', other clubs were 'in for this guy, lucky we got him' and last Friday became Christmas Eve. We couldn't wait until 3.00pm on 'Christmas Day...etc etc etc ad nausium.

The reality is always somewhat different, and disappointing, I suspect we were lucky to get three of the latest signings because they lived up the road and didn't fancy moving house.

Keep talking the talk, we'll keep swallowing the guff in hope and just maybe we'll be ok, faith can move mountains no

Towd lad, i agree, i said about the signings not wanting to move house etc. before the season started,

The one thing we have at the moment is time, time to sort it out, Cannot go thru August without a win.

Forest and QPR have had similar problems, i.e not winning the opening matches, but can you see Forest this end of the table by April next year? i l

Lets get behind the team, maybe things will change by Forest next weekend, we have to keep the blind faith LOL,
