Appeared out of position today and was rightly subbed. I do think he's a decent player but I worry how we will accommodate him.

We probably need a different formation where we have four across the middle, Maguire in front of them and then Derbyshire making his runs. That leaves no room for Danny Ward though.

MK Dons could not defend from our set pieces early doors.

Agreed though he wasn't in the game in the 2nd half.

Brother said that his Wednesday-supporting mate mentioned he drifts in and out of games.

I mentioned could this possibly be due to fitness, as he faded badly in the second half, and was seen regularly hand on hips (Alan Lee style) puffing.

Played out of position it seemed to me. Naturally drifted in several times and at others him and ward were not combining.

Not going to cut it in a supportive role.

Well I can name plenty of players who drifted in and out of games but were class. Le Tissier, Waddle, Hoddle. Maguire always looked like he could do something with the ball when he had it. He found the head of Derbyshire. Admittedly it wasn't as accurate as Halford finding Thorpe but they both led to a goal.
