Quite a coup for us, looking forward to it. Just a little worried about our knuckledraggers with the anti-German chanting, overheard some kids talking about it last night.
As far as chanting is concerned, surely we want teams like this to play more friendlies in seasons to come. Giving them verbal abuse is hardly likely to encourage them to come back.
You are right, but you are sane and have no doubt been brought up correctly. Afraid to say there are some who do not have your 'advantages'. Fingers crossed they see sense.
I'll be wearing my fake Adolf tash and looking forward to a few verses of 10 German Bombers. They did bomb our chip shop after all; not to mention shooting Kempo's granddad in WW1 (although there's a strong rumour round Canklow that he was shot by our side).
I realise it's tongue in cheek but they gassed my granddad, though I believe he was doing his best to kill them. If you have guests you treat them with respect or they wont come back and we can go back to playing Barnsley and the likes. But at least we would have put it up em hey.
Well, all went well on the day. The taxi dropped of the Mainz supporters, all eleven of them, at the NYS. It was a big taxi by the way.
They received a huge round of applause from the Millers' supporters when it was announced how many of them were in the ground.
