So , maybe another one or so to come in but up to now who is your favourite signing.

Im gunna surprise myself and maybe some others, but I think Maguire might turn out to be our most important signing.

Loan players not included. Went last night I agree Maguire clever player, good on the ball. He can play on the right, that might be best, can't see him & Derbyshire working together up front. Both would be better with someone to feed off.

If you are talking loan players then mine would be Grant Ward.

If it`s perm. signings then mine would be Ledesma.

Think Steve will go with what he`s got, but don't really see where the goals will come from.

Steve may have to delve into the loan market for a striker.

Lets wait and see I could be completely wrong.

For me it's Tom Thorpe, young centre back with lots of potential,I can see him and Rawson making the two centre back spots on a regular basis as they both have more pace than wide foot and woods

I'm bothered by the lack of a goalscorer but in all seriousness should we expect one?

It seems indicative of football that if you have grand designs of promotion etc its a necessity, but we're far from that.

Bournemouth for example had Callum Wilson (and paid royally for him), but how much did Kermogorrant and the others all chip in with 7,8,9 etc here and there, I'll bet it was a fair few.

I think personally because the 4-2-3-1 looks the new 4-4-2, (we even coach 9yr old a 7 a side version), I think its more to do with the goals those front 4 get, the onus is on them to contribute but less per player.

We've got goals in that no matter what perm Steve goes with, and more importantly- pace! - you can't counter attack without it.

Would love it if Frecks can bang em in this season, a full season out of him and D.Ward would be very welcome. I'm most excited about G.Ward though, I think he'll be a sensation

I think we have signed well this summer. Compare this summers signings to last summers an there is no contest.

Ledesma, G Ward, Maguire, Thorpe, Halford, Rawson, Roos - all good signings who will add quality.

Hard to pick just one out.

Agree with leedlefriend, for me it's got to be this fella.

Aidy White played at left midfield is a player that really gets me on the edge of my seat with his pacy surging runs into the heart of the defence, brilliant with the ball at his feet and such a good turn of pace, i'm really excited by what this guy could offer us when the season starts.

At left back, he was given a tough time at Partick by the trickery and power of left winger David Amoo, but other than that he's had a great pre-season.

The centre-back pairing of Danny Collins and Tom Thorpe is another favourite of mine, already gelling together well, seem to understand each other already and will be key to us this season.

Grant Ward.....well the sky's the limit for this lad....time will tell obviously.

Can't disagree with any of that analysis Zip and it just shows what good signings we have made this close season when all of them get a mention in a thread like this.  I am quietly confident that we will surprise a few people this season.

Maguire is my favourite with young Thorpe close by.
