Been looking forward to these pics John & you didn't disappoint, superb as usual, a great insight into Scottish football, especially places like Alloa & Stirling Albion. Well done John & see you Wednesday bud.

Excellent Photos John, if the millers could guarantee being up in Scotland every year i would do the same, catch a game, sightseeing, etc.

Did you stay in one place (Glasgow?) and then went out to the respective matches?

Cheers pal,

Yeah i stayed in the Centre of Glasgow, got a couple of excellent deals......£438 (non refundable) for 9 nights at Premier Inn, rather than £620 with the refund option if the holiday fell through, plus just £19.50 advance fare for the train journey up....i came back with the Supporters coach £30......so less than £50 to get from Barnsley to Glasgow and back, very happy with that.

All the games i went to, with the exception of Dundee were very cheap on the Train, between £4.70 and £11.50 return.......and just £1.50 on the subway to Partick Thistle.

I should really have booked in advance for the Dundee train as it would only have cost about £13, but i paid on the day and it cost £37.50 return.

All our games were a tenner to get in, but the others were £3 for each of the 2 Kilmarnock games, £4 at the Glenafton tournament, and £5 at Stirling and Airdrie...............Alloa was free.

All in all a very enjoyable and very reasonably priced Holiday.

Thanks for the pictures John, especially the three generations of my family supporting the Miller's at Dundee. You have made a Towd Codger very happy with that picture.
