I'm always doubtful of utility players in terms of their really impact. It's much harder to see the positives and easier to prove a negative.

If he can't nail down a place it must be frustrating. However, if he has genuine talent in more than one position then it gives the manager something to work with regarding formation.

ian,

Gregg Halford may turn out to be the signing of the season.

We can`t judge him on one game against Parkgate but his touch is excellent.

The midfielders need to send the ball to his chest or feet and not lump it in the air onto his head.

I reckon he will play upfront or just behind the front two.

What a versatile player to have in the squad.

Signing Greg Halford was an Evans master stroke. This guy is a genuine utility player, he will fit in where ever he is asked to play and give a great performance. Well done Steve this could turn out to be one of your best ever signings.
