I ve always rooted for him from day one, and as some of you will remember started a thread or two about him. Even when he was covering he had the bravery and commitment to give it is all.
Hes like a huge prize fighting cross btw a yorkie and a whippet up close.
I think hes better than Morgs is in central defence, he loves to press and he is a significant threat from corners and he can get up in open play when needed and create space and chances.
He would have been on my team sheet at central defence every week

I thought he was pap when he first came but to be fair to him that was at right back.
He has since got better every game and proved me wrong. I like a player to prove me wrong when I doubt him. Shows character, or that I am not the best judge.
I think everybody to a man thought he was awful at right back but certainly shone when he got his chance at centre back. Finished the season with several plaudits on here and the other site - hope he can keep that going into next season.
Glad a number of fans have come around to the point of view expressed by Ian and myself last season about Kirk Broadfoot.
Kirk was awesome towards the end of the season when playing in the only position that he is comfortable with. He is a centre half pure and simple and never claimed to be anything else. One has to admire a player who will play where he is asked to play in order to help the team out, even if he knows he will struggle at right back. Kirk assured us he would come good when playing in his proper position and I for one have been glad that he was proved right. I am sure he will consolidate his performances in that position this season and become an automatic choice in the Miller's back line.
Hope he continues where he left off, super composed on the ball, not afraid to get forward either, was so unlucky not to grab a couple near season end. Need some pace near him though & i think hes getting on isnt he?
