cheers Ex, is strange that he stopped at 1500 posts. Cospiracy theories may abound. I have noticed that Ian is also quiet at the mo, maybe MM is putting out contracts on our most regualer posters. In that case Andy I would be looking over my shoulder.

You may be right, sickly. I must get some wing mirrors fitted to my motorbike. Saves looking over my shoulder all the time.

Look at my avatar. smile

Yes, that's true. I am just gonna have to soldier on and travel on foot for a while.
That may throw them off the scent.

Joking apart, where IS One_Kevin_Kilmore these days?

He was a good and regular poster on here till his disappearance on May 1st, and a regular on the Banter predictions too.

I hope he's alright.

Come on Kev, give us a sign my friend.

He posted 1500 times on Millers Banter.
Then on 01/05/15 he disappeared without a trace.
Exeter says that he had e-mailed OKK.

Is the date significant?  I saw a bloke wearing a Millers scarf next to Putin at the Mayday celebrations in Red Square.

 I hope he's not defected.

Worrying times.

On the moon with Elvis and Glenn Miller apparently, so the papers say.

But i would too be concerned, maybe he has had enough or he is orchestrating his own return - so when he does appear he will return like the messiah, and then give Ian a run for him money.

hmmmmm...Ive stayed silent on this as I dont want to be insensitive but I have been worried about whoever he is/was. His posts were usually very short comments but very well received and oft' he would be a lone voice in the early days with only myself for company (poor chap. perhaps that was it) especially on match day when I would return to the board to see he had spent the whole afternoon in the armchair (on on location in the maldives) talking to himself. He would attend games however but he never or only rarely went to away games and sometimes/often to home ones. He was married (?) more of an impression than evidence that I can remember and id say he was in his early 50s give or take. I think he was retired, or at least did not work in a 9-5 and had access and time and inclination to get on the PC often and at most times of the day. He was kind and supportive. He would occasionally offer a strong view but would never elaborate. He was politically centre left id say. The evidence if I remember suggests he lives in Rotherham.

Thankfully Andy came along and we were looking more like a 3 legged stool and xmas was a notable fun time here on Banter with the 3 of us...then others slowly appeared but still kev remained...stalwart, consistent and always with a rye smile. His Avatar conveyed a cheeky but arthritic character full of candour and the absured-a winning combination.

we were indeed hand in glove and he was my one and only shadow. I noticed a surge of posts from 1400- 1500...it was like hed finished his race. His mission had been accomplished, his race run...

On the other hand I think it was Sherlock that pointed out the most usual likely scenario and how to arrive at it.

Deduce backwards

the small details are most important.

eliminate the impossible

any truth is better than doubt

Gather only what is obvious

do not theorise before first links are formed

notice the context and form the question

draw conclusions based on support and non support of the context

arrive at an initial counter balanced statement.

Thanks for that, Ian.  I now have a clearer understanding of Kevin.

Let's hear it for One Kevin Kilmore, pioneer and legend.

Wow!  This is like the frequent analysis of the last scene in the Sopranos.  From Ian's analysis Sherlock would deduce that Kev was gone from us.  However, there are other possibilities.  Gino suddenly disappeared from MM and has never responded to requests to return but he's still around.  Clar went totally quiet on MM.  So did Wendun and Will Ritson although lifetime bans contributed to their silence.
