Personally I want Chesterfield as I feel they are the weakest team and we will need all the help we can get next year. Blades would be good as they are also not that strong plus a great local derby. Would love to see depreston not make it as I don't like em and they are a decent side.
The last time the Blades and the Owls played in the same league was three years ago.
On the first derby game of the season on 16 October 2011 United gained a 2-0 lead, but Wednesday came back to make it 2-2 at Bramall Lane. The second game on 26 February 2012 at Hillsborough was important for both teams, since both sides were competing for promotion to the Championship. Wednesday took the full 3 points with a 1-0 win after goal from Chris O'Grady. The goal turned out to be crucial, since Wednesday eventually finished second in the table and gained promotion with 93 points, while United finished third with 90 points. United eventually failed to gain promotion after losing the Play-offs final to Huddersfield.
Well there's three good old Northern clubs there and one Southern team, Swindon, who I've had a dislike for since I was in my teens, mainly because it's not very often we beat 'em, so it's "sod's law" that Swindon will be the team to succeed I.M.O.!
I wouldn't mind which Northern club came up but my personal preference would be for the Blades, and then Chesterfield, for geographical reasons of course!
Plus it would be nice to get revenge for that diabolical display at Bramall Lane against their reserve team when they beat us 1-0 and we were a "laughing stock" for weeks later on the messageboards!
And there was nowt we could say in reply either because we were beaten by the better team!
