learnt nothing from Rotherham. This is an unbelievably crass proposal designed to win Muslim votes but at the expense of what?
Ill conceived and ill thought out statements like this are a sign of sheer desperation from Labour - get them voted out from Rotherham in May and send a clear message that we have had enough of them.
He shows what a bad statesman he is and he would not make a good PM.
It's the wrong policy statement at the wrong time.
It's also insensitive and unintelligent.
The vast majority of normal people know that we need protection from islamic political, and religious beliefs in a progressive secular society not the other way round.
What I really don't like is the opportunistic tone of this. It is actually a divisive statement.
If Labour get in any of the Rotherham constituencies it PROVES the old theory that if you dressed a donkey in a red rosette in Rotherham people would vote for it.
