Now that its settled I must admit to feeling let down. Is that the same as blame? I dont know. But, I do know if it were any other area of life, or institution that I give my passionate support, and time and money to that had messed up then I would expect to be upset and feel let down.
I for one want the club to admit responsibility and issue a statement of apology to the fans and sponsors and tell us they wont **** up again. Isnt that the very least and decent thing the club could do? My concerns are that the club has forgot the fans and is navel gazing while there is another dimension to this.
I think the time to pick over the bones will be after the season ends, whatever the outcome. For now we should all remain focused on staying up and making the NYS a fortress for the next two games.
Of course we do Ian but I guess it was an honest mistake.
Fact is, NYS will be on fire tomorrow and on Tuesday with an unbelievable atmosphere. Like most, we stick together when stuff happens. We will have a ball
I would like to know all the facts regarding the **** up, but I suppose that's not possible at the moment due to the impending appeal. In the meantime we have to get behind the lads and roar them on to victory in the last three games. We can still do this, come on you Reds.
Yes,I feel let down but I agree that it would seem to be an honest mistake.
We should not be surprised though, that no leniency has been shown because the Football League have shown none to the Millers previously.
I do hope we react well to this. However, this season has had all the hallmarks of a relegation battle. Silly mistakes on the pitch (and off!) and poor refereeing decisions too.
So don't expect any favours from officials tomorrow or Tuesday.
Truly hope I'm wrong but I'm fast becoming a pessimist. By the way, I actually thought we would not get any points deducted! Silly me.
I wouldn't say I feel let down neither surprised - its a stunt we always seem capable of for some reason. As long as lessons are learned and the right systems in place to stop it happening again then its no biggy.
We will still stay up, can't see thugwall or Wigan getting more than a point in all honesty. They both deserve to go down purely on merit, just like Blackpool
Of course I feel let down, even more so if there is no accountability after the appeal. I for one am not in the "no-one is to blame" camp, someone is definitely to blame & should be sanctioned at the earliest opportunity!!
Sadly I feel that what happened re; Rawson was an oversight brought on by us using so many Loan players this season.
Of course we do Ian but I guess it was an honest mistake.

^^^^^ This.
We are all in this together, now is not the time for blame, it's time to come together and cheer/roar the lads on to safety and a party atmosphere at Elland Road.
People are fallible and will always make mistakes, we have to learn from it and put in systems that don't allow it to happen again. If it did happen again then that might be a different story. Murphy's Law -if it can go wrong it will go wrong
