Evans is clearly deflecting attention to football matters? As far as just the football goes, even with the 3 points deducted if we match or better Millwall we stay up and it really is that simple. He's right in saying that relegation doesn't hinge on that event alone. I think anybody could name at least 5-10 matches this season we didn't do ourselves justice - purely as sticking to the 'point per game' ethos would be deemed enough to stay up. Unfortunately this has given us no room to manoeuvre when we are on the run we're on, but is this Evans' lack of experience in a relegation dog fight? If we go down it will be because of all the points we've either thrown away / not sought after especially in away matches when they were there for the taking - ac***ulatively is why where we are. I wonder how many other clubs have only taken 2 points from Blackpool for example?
As for not knowing how long he has players at his disposal is utter bullshine, he should know exactly to the game who is eligible, that's why you plan? for loan signings isn't it? He's doing his best to protect his staff, keep it in house, which anybody in any walk of life would do.
It will be extremely close I know that. Fulham, Leeds & Norwich will give us next to no points return, if we don't take full 3 points from an uninterested Reading, we'll only have ourselves to blame
