Let's just say, maybe it is Derby County who should be worrying.

And exactly how many loan registration extensions have you completed in your life?

I think the most likely scenario (and the reason for the total confusion from our side) is that we agreed with Derby and applied to the league for a Youth loan which runs until the end of the season (with the 24 hour recall after 28 days). Derby submitted their paperwork to the league but (in error) it was only for a 28 day emergency loan and the discrepancy was not picked up by the league officials. The loan was then recorded and ratified on the 28 day basis. Rotherham were informed that the loan had been ratified and assumed it was on the terms agreed with Derby and submitted to the league in our paperwork - there was no reason to think otherwise as the discrepancy was not highlighted by the league officials. We played the lad against Brighton blissfully unaware that we were fielding an unregistered player until the league's charge came through. If this is the scenario (and I have no knowledge it's just pure guess work) then I think we have a case and hence the hiring of a very expensive silk to fight our corner.

Not too far off the mark.

Relax everyone.

Okay then let's remain anxious, negative and frustrated about the 3 points.

I am sure it will help!

The argument about the paperwork really doesn't hold water. Even if the mistake on the loan contract was made by Derby we would have been sent the paperwork when it was ratified by the league. Our admin people should have picked up on it at that point. It maybe gives our Q C something to work with but it is hardly a conclusive argument.

Theres a bloke in town with a "The end is Nigh" sign, do you think we should believe him too?  Why should we take your word on this? Have you an inside ear? If so how do we know that? Can we trust what you say?

All these questions, too many, add up to take whats said with a pinch of salt, we cant do any more.  If you had a history of being right then that would be a different matter but we cant go on a short time on here, no track record of being in the know.

I hope you are right but i've come to terms with having 3 points deducted, a goal taken off our tally and the Millers recieving a fine. Anything less than this would be a bonus.

Agree, you don't offer any evidence and frankly you simply can't know what no one else knows given no decision has been made. It's unkind and absurd of you to come on here with grandiose statements. As per your previous communications which are sensational and confrontational and as such simply screaming out for attention.

So you claim I don't know anything yet everyone on this site has already deducted the 3 points from our total.

It hasn't happened yet.

I am sure Steve Evans wouldn't let any of you near our dressing room at this crucial time.

Reading my previous post : there is a huge difference between posting things that are a kick up the backside to everyone before the season reaches the business end than being hysterical during a crisis.

Regarding completion of paperwork, how many people know how it is done?

Yet this non-knowledge has provoked a sickening orgy of negativity.

This site I was told was a cut above MM but lets be right it can't compete at all.

Not only is it lifeless, dull and pretentious, it is a breeding ground of doom and despondency.

By the way I haven't met a Millers player yet who has read the site.

I am grateful for that because a quick flick through the posts on here would crush their spirits.

We have something in common. We both haven't met a millers player who reads this site and we like orgies.

You meet players all the time do you? Sorry but you come over as a wind up merchant. Maybe you are on the wrong site.

I wouldn't take much notice of burglar bill...he has been confrontational since joining.

He should stick to the other site which suits him better.

listening to Evans he seems resigned to losing the points and it seems thats what will happen.

The simple truth is that we would only be charged if the paperwork gave an end date that did not include the Brighton date.

Its the paper evidence that will carry most weight whatever the cir***stances so we will be guilty as charged.

Our only chance is that the panel will consider that the possible consequences of a points penalty would be so great as to be unfair given the fact that the mistake was indeed a mistake and completely unintentional.

I live in hope as we all do.
