The accounts typify a well run small football club really I think and I think Ian and I both thought an estimated T/O of £9 million would be a decent figure so an extra £2 million is welcome. But boy are we fishing with the big boys.
Interesting reading therw m8, thanks for posting it.
Just a few things;
Turnover up nearly 4million, building steaderly
Gross profit 2.5million, maybe wages will increase next season with more quality recruits?
Match receipts, up just short of 600k, would an increase of ground capacity increase this amount considerably?
Media receipts doubled, we could be on Sky more often and increase this even more
On first impressions, Yes it looks good for our first season in the Championship, we havent lost or wasted millions on all those loan signings and players released
I don't want to be optimistic -pessimistic, but that puts us in a good position for next season whether in the championship or not.
I agree Ian, there's been many throwing crap at the Millers saying we've spent over our means and back to our old wys. These accounts prove the Millers are on a firm footing with good leadership from the Top, all thanks to Tony and Co for the good work done behind the scenes.
