Paul greens absence.

I know some aren't keen on the midfield pairing of green and Smallwood for attscking reasons but I think they need each other and without them we have little chance of control in midfield.

I would never drop him and I dint think he has done much wrong that we have any better option.

All this tinkering has brought no return. We are weak without him and this gives the defence much less protection.

Leave arnie our of midfield.

I'm not sure which our best team is anymore, Ian, never mind the midfield pairings. What I will say is, we have some very good players. Those players have good games and some not so good games. It's anybody's guess who SE will pick today. More importantly will the chosen ones be match winners?
I have a dread that we are going to be beaten 1-0.
The after match interview may be the usual spiel.

'It's very hard to take. But we only lost by the one goal. We now have to plan for the next game.'

I have now become very pessimistic.

My glass has now become half empty.

But hey, I will be at the game today giving my lungs a good work out.
I will be urging the team on.
It's up to the players to give their all now.

UTM!

I'm glad he played.

Did very well overall, just the obligatory rugby tackle to Mar his day.

Well done Mr Green, I love this guy. My God, if he could score he'd have been in the England squad🎯

Its funny - in the north stand me and about 10 people around me - enthused? the same words - 'Why did that have to fall to Green!'

Just bizarre how a player can miss such easy, especially easy for a professional who does this as a job, chances.

LOL. No, was just comparing him to paul scholes in my head and wondering that if he could bag all the goals he gets in position for he would have been snapped up by England before Ireland gave him a call.
