NO, NO, NO!!!!

LABOUR do not deserve a single vote in this borough, either in a General OR local election.

Yes I know that under Labour's stewardship the most heinous of acts were both carried out and coverd up by the people who were there to protect and Govern.  Acts that still have not had the perpetrators or those doing the covering up brought to justice!

So I dont vote Labour (for obvious reasons) and cant vote Conservative (my Grandparents would turn in their graves) so that leaves Ukip? Are they just Tories in disguise?

Or do I sit on my harris and take whatever the result and except what everyone else end up voting for? Thats if anyone turns out to Vote hmm

Decisions, decisions no

That's it kk.

A real dilemma.

One could decide to vote on national or local issues.
One could vote on class.
One could vote on historical patterns.
One could vote to punish.
One could vote to elect.

If you vote Labour you will get Labour. Not my cup of tea anymore. They are still in denial over a number of local issues which still need to be resolved.

Cant trust them Andy, people are hurt about whats happened in our Town but they, the council and police seem to be doing next to nothing in reply.  Apologies dont really cut it, actions speak louder than words. People need to see justive being done.

We certainly cannot trust the current shower, Kevin. Rotherham as a town can only move forward when the culprits are caught, prosecuted and put behind bars. People will probably feel much safer than they are at present.

I am unable to support any arrogant candidate, and if re-elected, will feel vindicated for what?  Continued denial of the scale of the CSE in the Rotherham area and no prosecutions of the wrongdoers involved.

Let them continue with their fabrication and embroidery.

UKIP will get my vote.

Interesting reading, and food for thought regarding tactical voting.

I think Labour will still be elected at both MP and Council level, which would be disgraceful given their shameful record over the last 15 years.

I hadn't considered UKIP but if there is the slightest chance of removing Labour then it may be worth a punt

This protest voting is all well and good, and i totally understand it here in Rotherham, particularly at local level, but a vote for UKIP is basically voting for a conservative point of view, you may as well vote tory, because make no mistake, they will gladly sit on the tory side of a coalition gov't.

I think everyone knows my views and the predicament i'm in for who to vote for, but i could never vote UKIP.

Most candidates will promise a lot before the General Election and deliver very little afterwards.

The party candidates are just going through the motions.

Their speeches and presentations are provided by comedy writers. The main party candidates even look surprised at what they are

reading.

Look at the Lib Dem candidate for Sheffield Hallam and his speech about tuition fees before the last General Election.

Not long afterwards he was told that those fees would be increased to £9,000. He's keeping a low profile in his constituency at the moment . He even believes that he is doing quite well in the run up to the election.

Will he be looking for alternative employment after 7th May?

He's been a big disappointment - arrogant, no balls and, we'll, a typical politican. Even stabbed his own town in the back.

Sound familiar.

I dont want the Tories and that smug lying P rick Cameron getting in again....... And I dont want Labour running anything in Rotherham either.

If those two wishes come true then I will be happy.

For the first time in my life I will not be going to the polling station to cast my vote. I cannot in all sincerity vote for any of them, this makes me angry that they have all made me so disillusioned with politics and politicians that I no longer feel able to take part in the democratic process. There is no real difference between any of the major parties on policy, particularly economic policy. They all want to make ordinary people pay for the economic crisis rather than laying the blame where it really belongs, at the door of the banks and financial institutions. Remember all other policy issues are irrelevant unless you get economic policy right. Now to turn to the political class and politicians, there is nothing to choose between them. They are a bunch of public schoolboys who all went to the same schools and know nothing about the lives of ordinary working people. Politics to these people is a career choice that pays very well, they regard the people who vote for them as a bit of an hindrance to be fobbed of with any excuse as to why they can't keep their election promises. Well I for one have had enough of their rotten corrupt political system. I refuse to play their game anymore.

Unfortunately by refusing to vote you achieve nothing and they win anyway. Personally I would always vote if possible even if it means going to the polling station and spoiling my paper, at least I made my feelings known in the electoral process.

Kind of sums it up for me, apart from the voting bit, i will go to the polling station, and i'm not sure whether to spoil it or in fact vote, sorry state of affairs either way...

I'll probably vote for TUSC now.  I heard their leader Dave Nellist speak on TV on Friday evening. I have changed my mind about voting for UKIP.
