Most of 'em are career politicians. Will anyone of us get the chance to question/see any of the candidates wanting our vote before the forthcoming General Election? Err, no. They take us for granted.

Maybe the answer is to actively not participate in their system and organise from outside. people will need a viable alternative, what this would look like is for greater minds than mine.

No time for any of them. They are a bunch of public school boys who all went to the same elite schools. They all think the same way and have no real concept of how the majority of us live, nor do they care. It is impossible to place a cigarette paper between the major parties on policy. A plague on all their houses none of them are worth a single vote.

 Well said. That's one hell of a summary of the political class and the system that keeps the poor man ( or woman) disadvantaged.
