In Steve we trust? Carry on guys, but I think your trust is misplaced!!

Hope it isn't Brad. I have liked your posts and hope it's just a knee jerk reaction to a very bad game ending.  I think Exeter's post sums up everything very well. Like you, I am in the ground an hour before KO so I can speak with the players, security, photographers because the build up to a match is all part of the experience for me and I dare say you. Gutted, absolutely gutted on Saturday and I still am today (Monday) and I no longer live anywhere near Rotherham so I don't have anyone peckin mi ead about the result. As you rightly point out, we have bottled it, choked so many times this season, it is very hard to take.  But you are a Miller mate and it does come with the shirt. Always has and always will.  You and I will be supporting this club long after SE has been and gone and we will have other great days and sh*t days. But we will still be there.

Infrastructure is not yet in place for us to survive in the Champs yet but we might just survive this season and perhaps we can get G&C site to pull us in some much needed additional revenue.

Come on mate, Cheer Up, you are a good poster and we need you on this Board.  Just give MM a miss blankstareblankstare

I like this board because as pessimistic as I am, in the main my points are listened to & not dismissed as being disloyal, but Saturday actually felt like a bereavement, I was so hurt, shocked & downright angry, not just because it was Wednesday, because it happened AGAIN in the dying moments of the game.

I am & will continue to be a lifelong Miller, but I do not & have never liked the current manager & his assistant. He did a great job getting us out of League 2 & to an extent League 1 albeit luckily. I'm sick tired & fed up of his gross overuse of the short term loan system, sitting down at NYS when the teams are announced & saying "who"? Generally they've turned out to be utter pap. SE & PR (can't bring myself to use their names) went into the season woefully underprepared for what lay ahead, hence our current predicament.

Fans can point out that we're playing well for 75-80 minutes but what good is that when we ***k it up in the last 10 minutes or a ten minute period in the game.

We have or have had players in the team that I wouldn't put in a Conference side, Fryers, Clubfoot, Milsom are just three that spring to mind. What has Richard Wood done wrong? Why don't we bring players through from the academy? Sorry, I'm ranting again.

In conclusion, I need a break from the stress & hurt of it all. I have high BP anyhow & my final game of the season (Boro away because it's pre arranged & paid for) might well finish me off. Please don't hate me or spit at me when I arrive (refreshed) for the opening game of 2015/16 season whatever division the Millers find themselves in.

Good luck to all. I hope I will be allowed to contribute to this excellent board!!

As previously stated - attendance is NOT mandatory, Of course you will be welcome you nutmeg!

On this site we understand people's decisions, not ridicule them. I disagree with many of your ideas but please keep airing them and sooner or later one of us might be right!

We're all in the same boat brad. I actually have an anurism, so, believe me, I'm on your page.

We have to find our way of dealing with stress (uncertainy) and it's unique journey for each, and yes, a break from trigger factors is often a preliminary and necessary first step.

I often find taking a long view is helpful: what's the likely hood of the fear and how would you deal with it - what would happen. Remember the key to this is to accurately estimate the chances of something happening and what you know about yourself in terms of coping.

For instance: what have you survived before; how did you cope with feelings before; did you survive? Did it matter much in 10 years, 5 years, 1 year...

So, in your case (and any fan) the fear is ultimately getting relegated. The issues we focus on are beyond our control .

It would seem here is less than a 50/50 chance of this happening. Something like this is hard to calculate but most would agree that it's less likely to happen that not.

If we did get relegated what would happen?  Well, relegation. Would you feel as gutted about this after 1 year, 6 months or 3 months? Would there be great wins as well as defeats? Yes!

If steve evans stayed In the job ( seems unlikely without success next year) then he would be gone sooner or later, or you would be happy because we are doing well.

If you write out your questions and then answer them the fear diminishes very significantly as long as you follow through with the answer based on real knowledge based on broad experience of your cir***stance.

Yes. Yours and Exeter post too are spot on

Keep going all. We will be hhere next season and if we're not we still have something far better than anything in the last 60 years. A great chairman,  a lovely stadium and hope for the future that we can build on to be a favourite in league 1.

That's what I like about this board we all try to encourage one another. When a fellow Miller is feeling down we try to lift them back up again. I have to do it with my fourteen year old grandson and I did it with his father both of them Miller's from birth.
I suppose it comes somewhat easier when you have supported the Miller's both home and away for over 65 years like I have.
Why do I say that? Because as a previous poster said it comes with the territory. I have experienced some incredible highs watching the Miller's over all those years, but also there have been some awfully low points. I have seen Rotherham teams play some brilliant football in that time and also some pretty dire stuff. I have seen managers that I loved and managers that were not so good. I won't use the expression managers that I hated because I don't hate anyone connected with my beloved team.
This is what it means to be a Miller, enjoy the highs and don't get too down when the lows come along. And remember there is always the next game. So we now move on to the Birmingham game and hope for better things, the Wednesday game is over and done with. Nobody said it would be easy being a Miller, but my god I've loved every minute of it over the years, and hope to enjoy many more years supporting the Miller's. The downs just make the ups even better when they come along.
Up the Miller's.

I hated Andy Scott.

Anyone who thought Ben Pringle was a 7 a side player knew sweet nada about football and he was tasked with running my club.

But you are right, Don Valley losing to Aldershot 3-0 in the cup was a massive low for me... My wife made me leave her hospital bed to watch it. Cost me a tenner, was cold and my team didn't try. Then there was Wembley...then Wednesday.

Plenty of highs and plenty of lows. Attendance is not mandatory. If I stopped liking it I would stop going.

I'm sure a couple of wins plus two draws will keep us in the Championship. That's because my glass is still half full.

Up the Millers!

My season won't be over until the 90 plus 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 minutes added time at Leeds when the referee blows for full time.

It is about perspective and I am sure Brad feels the hurt. I remember I was just so happy to be there at xmas that the result was almost seconary. Indeed with a few mins to go against Huddersfield and 2-0 I was still smiling but hoping for at least one goal. Got two, happy as a sandboy and then it snowed, fantastic.
