Today's result will have one of two effects, effects that we as fans can't really have any control over, it's down to the players now.

We either chuck the towel in, or the players really get stuck into our last few games, they've gotta be hurting, maybe not as much as us, but their professional pride will definitly be dented, will we bounce back?

I'd still rather be us than Wigan, wouldn't you?

We are slowly running out of games. No wins, no draws = no points = League One football next season.

Andy, Wigan are also slowly running out of games, and they're still 5 points behind us....

Very true, MMM.  I don't know what has got into me lately.

Current form suggests wigan will overtake us. 2 wins is all that's needed.

It's not s coincidence that we have had several excellent chances to put all this to bed, but haven't.

Wigan cannot be relied upon to lose and thus we need 3 wins now from 7 as a minimum. That's what it will take and always has been the case.

Well, it will soon be May. I'd hate to think we were going to play Leeds Utd and needed a win to stay in the Championship.

A must win game at Birmingham. Anything less and our confidence will surely be dented. No wins, no points. It's difficult to see us in the Championship next season.
If we lose at Birmingham we can look forward to meeting Brighton on Easter Monday. Yeah! We can beat Brighton.
Can we really? That's why we need to beat Birmingham.
Sorry, lads and lasses, I'm being morbid but realistic at the same time.

We only need 6 points at the most. 2 or 3 from the next 2 games is plenty. We are nearly there, relax everyone, wigan will NOT get more than 10 point from there remaining 7 games.

You are correct, Fliker. We do need points.

I cannot even hazard a guess as to  where and how those points are going to be gained.

I will be over the Moon with 4 points from the games with Brum and Brighton.  Whether we get those 4 points is another matter though, but I cant see many points coming from Wigans remaining games too smile

I honestly think any notion of how many points we need is redundant. We simply have to match wigan and millwall results. They are capable of any results as they have shown over the last 4 straight away wins and a late point at home last week. One of those wins was against Norwich.

I'm hoping for 7 straight wins for the millers.

I need the Millers to be safe going into the Leeds game. If not then I fear for my nails, nerves and my underwear!

Come on Millers we can do it!
