There was no way we shudda lost that game today. I'm livid. Wigan couldn't score from open play. As you know Pennant scored the first goal from a free kick. When he got another free kick from almost the same spot on the pitch why didn't one or maybe two Rotherham players stand nearer the goal line to protect the Collin?

Well, Jock both free kicks were well taken. First free kick saw the ball go top left into the back of the net and second free kick saw the ball planted top right into back of the net. I'm not sure that blocking Collin's view by two of his teammates would have made any difference to the outcome. Both free kicks were well taken.
'I've been looking at the MillersBanter board tonight. Where is everybody? Are they down at the pub drowning their sorrows?
It doesn't take much to stop people posting. I'm sure we will survive.'

You're right, bill. It is a tad quiet on here. Perhaps people are watching a bit of telly and tucking into some burgers and chips. Don't worry this site will be buzzing later on.
Tell me, bill. Why don't you start posting on here?
Those free kicks were fairly phenomenol but I do wonder why the wall is inviting the ref to March them back. If the had stood around 10 yards and not 5 yards it may have got the wall an extra yard or so because it looked more like 12 to me. Small points but real gamesmanship and professionalism like the way wigan managed the second half.
Very difficult to defend against two well taken free kicks. Should one of our players have stood on the goal line to defend one of the posts? We are well and truly cooked if our next opponents play to win free kicks just outside the 18 yard box. On the upside not every player can take free kicks like Pennant.
