After Steve Evans comments 're the Peterborough job in today's Star, can we now close this thread down. If you have not seen it here's the quote, I told our supporters Don't be alarmed. If they don't know Steve Evans is in the trenches to keep this club in the Championship, then they don't know Steve Evans. Thanks Steve can we all now concentrate on the job in hand, keeping the Miller's in the Championship.

Got me thinking about a PE teacher back at old hall in the 80's there Ian, don't know about over the top, but I certainly would have liked to been on top

The Frog Chorus springs to mind

Win or lose, sink or swim
One thing is certain, we'll never give in
Side by side, hand in hand
We all stand together

Play the game, fight the fight
But what's the point on a beautiful night
Arm in arm, hand in hand
We all stand together

SE is a very self interested sort of man I believe which is why he always hedges his bets in interviews and praises other clubs in the way he does. I have no problem with that, particularly in the cut throat world he operates in. It wouldn't surprise me if he went at some stage. A move to Peterborough would be a stupid move imo. If he does go then I would say thanks Steve, you helped with two promotions. Could other managers have done it with the amount of money you had provided by TS? I think so.

Are there other out of work managers who could do a job for us in this Division, I reckon there are and/or there will be.

My gym teachers were all smart Alec guys who loved to go over the top. And don't get me going on teachers in general. Apologies to any who might read this but, I hate you! furious

Ok. I'm back in the room again.  Breath...biggrin

Must have been Freudian.
