A move for Maguire, some on here discussed in past and I wonder if SE ever considered?

Good signing that, I have a feeling Wigan may just escape the drop.

Malkay Mc' has made several 'good' signings since coming in and of course they were tipped for automatic promotion at the start of the season.

There was a time when I thought Wigan were as secure a prem team as anyone outside the big boys club.

Dave Whelan has clearly lost some focus and the money situation must have become increasingly unsustainable for them.

short-medium term they might even now not have reached the bottom of their current dip.

So many decent managers have gone there and not arrested the slide.

Perhaps they can just survive this year but apart from Blackpool no one will throw in the towel (charlton perhaps )

He has the turning circle of Richie Barker in a Dodgem. He is as fast as me on crutches, but has a good footballing brain.

I'm glad he's gone to Wigan instead of us.
