Millers striker Matt Derbyshire has loved Blackburn Rovers since he was a boy. Here's what he thinks about playing against them tonight. Plus, boss Steve Evans on agents and Ben Pringle.

Good to hear in that - sounds like he's got a spring in his step. There's nothing wrong with putting a performance and losing. Scoring goals breeds confidence win or lose. Hopefully we've turned the corner of only scoring in 50% of our league games, a horrible stat & would only mean one thing. Lets have more goals Matt - don't force it - just do what you do!

Just got more focus up top now that at any time this season.

Even with Ledesma and Lawrence we still didnt get that penetration and I think the whole shape of the team supports that right now. Ben Pringles return to form is also a vital part of it and the difference in his energy and focus is considerable. A one point he looked dreadfully off the pace and I thought that we and the championship had seen the last of him. Now, I think he has a career at this level, but its in the balance if the next year or so is with us.

Obviously it will be down to cash for both.

I remember that BP tweeted that Agard would have stayed if the offer had been right (which I presume means money)

Tweet:

"If the club wanted him to stay, they would of made that happen. Just remember that".

Obviously, (and probably reasonably) we as fans are in the dark about wages and deals.

I guess this is why the club always needs to be the first and foremost focus. Love the players while they are here, but dont have unrealistic expectations about them.
