Did anyone see the altercation between Steve Evans and Mick McCarthy early on in the first half? Seems Evans was complaining to the 4th official about Mick giving the ref/linesman the verbals. Evans gave McCarthy the verbals sign, and to his credit, McCarthy just looked very surprised, mouthing "who me?", and giving Evans an old fashioned look. Steve just had to burst out laughing and calm was restored (temporarily).
yes saw it - a lot of nothing. I think Mick is consummate professional and handles himself very well as a manager on the touchline and in interviews would love him here when/if Evans leaves. Often wondered why Evans doesn't take the right hand dugout where the linesman is seems a tactical mistake to allow the opposition to be in his ear all game.
