Thanks for the comments on the Joe Skarz feature, folks.

Here's my match verdict on Charlton v the Millers. 2-page spread in today's Star.

Paul, great report mate.

You mentioned photographic evidence of the handball - do you happen to have a link?

Cheers

Don't think it's made it on to the web or into the papers yet, Mate. Photographer was a freelance who was just showing me some of the images he'd snapped. He wasn't working for The Star, otherwise we'd have used it. Cheers.

Sorry this is stopped from video, not the best picture

Referee has a good line of site

Matey puts a leading leverage arm above Sammons head and it hits his hand and bounces clear.  I'm not sure of the rules - is this accidental?

I think the rules are hand to ball or the arm in an unnatural position

Not great quality Exeter but you can clearly see Bikey's arm is raised above Sammon's head. The ref gives the corner so he knows it came off a Charlton player. So either he missed it and took his lead from the linesman (unlikely as he is looking straight at it), or he thought it was accidental (in which case he is wrong and should not be reffing at this level), or he thought it was the 'keepers arm (in which case he needs to get himself to Specsavers as Bikey is black and the keeper white), or he thought Bikey got his head to it in which case he is a complete incompetent or he simply bottled it which is unacceptable at any level.

No excuse for the referee it looks to be a terrible decision.
