then I reckon the follow up tomorrow even more so.
Not necessarily the result, I'm not expecting anything, we never win in London - but seriously, I think the performance, how we go about our business will definitely tell us if we've turned a corner - or if Bolton was a one off!
Remember we only need 7 more wins to stay up - doesn't sound much does it?
Anybody ok to sneeze on Hammil and shove a potato in Danny Ward's exhaust pipe - seemed to go in our favour Tuesday!
Read ages ago that Derbyshire could be the saving grace if he starts firing, I'm not so sure yet. Out of all the signings he was one of the first, and may I add the most I got giddy about, but he needs more than one good game to convince me, such is the knocked confidence
However if I was asked about a saving grace - Connor Newton - there's something about him that makes you think if he ticks - the team will tick
Having played a shed load of football I always think you are only as good as your last game. Well Derbs was awesome in every department so he must be buzzing. I think he had the bad combination of being too hungry, bad luck and low confidence. Now he has removed those weights from his shoulders he may start firing a few in. He will never be a 25 goals a season man but he has found his way and 10 for this season is a realistic goal.
Bolton performance was good and showed SE can still get it spot on.
The performances of all were good but Derbyshire and Newton are cause for optimism.
Although the manner of the performance today is important let's not forget that the result is the only thing we need...After all those 7 wins won't happen without beating the odds starting today.

Ian, I think you mean, 'the performance of all the players was good, but Derbyshire and Newton in particular gave cause for optimism'. Yours reads that Newton and Derbyshire weren't good!
Please don't misunderstand, I'm not 'having a go', just friendly advice.
As for today's game, I've predicted a cagey 0-0, but I do have a sneaky feeling we could win this. As Exeter says, it's pretty important. We have to beat the teams in the 'mini-league' around us.
