Dear K, I've hesitated to mention this before either on here or on MM largely because I feel an element of guilt but I'd like to set the record straight.  Wendun is generally villified.  However, I was a very early member of MM, years before Wendun appeared (at least under that name) at a time when gino, deano, Rich, Stevelmu, JTP, UFO, Gazzam8, Davidr9, Duke, Aussiemick, JVMiller and a few others were the main contributors.  When Wendun joined it became apparent that he, Parkgatemiller and I shared an interest in films.  Wendun was a film buff and over the years he sent me without ever accepting a penny dozens of hard-to-find titles copied from his collection.  So far as I remember he was an amiable and jocular MM member for several years.

The problem started when he and Howdydoo during the Millers05 period argued for a buy-out of the club by the fans.  This obviously rankled some posters and thereafter every time he came on he was attacked as a 'ten-bob millionaire'.  Clar was particularly vindictive and went on endlessly about 'the Wendun Plan.'  I and others who knew another side to him didn't intervene and suddenly it was too late.  He became aggressive, threatened to find and shoot several posters and was given a life ban. End of story.  So far as I know he adopted Morecambe FC as his club and developed a deep loathing for Rotherham and the Millers.
