hmmmm.., me too.

and to some extent rose. I guess we are talking about a big step to championship level and it may be better all round to let them find something to develop their career elsewhere?

 Fail to see how he's been treated as you say he has.

He's been given plenty of time by the club to make the grade, he's now 20, and unfortunately at this point he hasn't been able to.......hence him joining Boston.

If they were good enough then they would be in or around the team. Players often have to drop down the leagues before they develop sufficiently to make it as a pro.

When has SE EVER brought a lad through the youth system to the 1st team???

 I think this is the case and we have to buck our ideas up as a Club re Youth Development  and Scouting in general. 

Do we even have someone on the Continent scouting talent? Or even non League? 

 

The Millers seem to be way behind in the way we operate in this area cry
