Much as I wish to stay optimistic, I can't see anything but a defeat. 0-3

Phew! They don't half come round quick.

Now then! Bournmouth are totally ace. We are below average. Played em and lost.

This is a cup game and I am going to do a bit of fantasy football. Bournmouth will psychologically not be tuned in for this. They will want a rest.

I think we will actually win this one and probably the return in a couple of weeks. Just a fantasy hunch I have.

2-1 millers

TBH, not much interest in this one, the club hasn't IMO reduced prices enough. Doubt if they'll be 6k there. If AFCB decide to give their major players a rest then we'll have a shot, depends on how seriously both teams take the FA Cup, the league game on the 17th is 100 times more important!!

Uh yuk not a replay - hopefully this will conclude on the day. Yes AFCB won't be up for it, which may be our saving grace. Will be very much an away game for us though, chasing shadows. If we can press them high we might be in for some goals, if we sit back and try and counter I think it'll be very drab with long periods of watching them show us what ball retention means.

I know that Bournemouth have been knocking the goals in so far this season, but I've got a feeling that they're not going to score against us and that we'll get a goal to send us through to the fourth round of the cup!

1-0 to the Millers, Hooray!!!!!!!!!    biggrin

A good old fashioned tonking. Or its it a thrashing? Not sure but one of those two. Lose by 3 or 4 and then back to what matters, the league. Can't get excited about cups at all. Couldn't care less.

Hope we can muster more than 6,000. I'm looking forward to it, hoping we can play in their faces type of footy. They won't want to lose but they won't be up for this, so I'm optimistic and 2-1 winners, The Millers.

I reckon Frecks is getting his mojo back and Pringle will react to that positively and get his back too. Good game for them both to start in I think

I haven't given a great deal of thought to this match. Staying in the Championship is, in my opinion far more important. However, over the next couple of days I am going to check the oracle for guidance and then make a prediction.

Have I missed something this season or have we done okay against the likes of Cardiff, Wolves, Blackburn, Sheff Weds, Forest, Norwich, Charlton...

And didn't we draw with Bournemouth at their place?

I think it will be a tight game with them trying to play pretty football with us trying to stop them. We will play like an away side and hit them on the counter with JCH getting the only goal.

We did draw with Bmth at their place, although it was more stolen than what the Wolves game was. That kind of thing can go off in a one off game, but the more you play against it the more it will even out and eventually you'll get the 'tonkings' that the gulf in class merits.

Make no mistake, and the league table doesn't lie. They are an absolutely quality side who, I will stick my neck out here, will be in the PL next season - making it probably one of the greatest football club achievements in modern day history (since Wimbledon?).

Make sure you take something to read, as you will be watching 70% of the game them having possession, but they also have the cleverness to make good angles in the final 3rd, something we need to learn from.

Wilson & Pitman have already scored the same amount of goals between them that our own whole team can muster, Ritchie & O'Kane are class players.

This is starting to sound like a love in, so I'll shut up - but I'm expecting nothing but a footballing lesson

AFC Bornemouth have several players who can upset our FA Cup run. Do we need an FA Cup run? My prediction calculator is not running at full tilt. In short Millers 1 Bournemouth 3

Several Bournemouth players did indeed upset our shortlived FA Cup run. We didn't need the inconvenience of the FA Cup.

Yes, we're gonna have to start listening to our heads instead of our hearts Ian!

At one point in the game my prediction of 1-0 to the Millers was looking good, but in the end I was 5 bloody goals off!   no

Things are looking up.

Would a bookmaker pay out on a bet of AFC Bournemouth will win by three or four goals? blankstare

What about  3-0 or 4-0?

The Millers actually scored a goal. smile

That wasn't mentioned in the tenuous prediction. I would call it nothing more than edging a bet.

The final score was 5-1.no

Footnote:

Remember, I still think multis are tedious.

UTM!

 Indeed.

At one point in the first half , I thought, Bournemouth, top of the league!  overrated!
I guess neither heart nor head are truly reliable.
