Steve Evans (audio) after Blackpool

I'm getting concerned about this.  Another public outburst of Arnason, I don't think he'll take much more.  Yes it was gut wrenching them equalising, but lets face it the 2nd half was nothing like the first 25 minutes.  I've said it before & I'll say it again.  If we're 3 up, if we had the personnel to actually stick the ball in the net, their goal would have been no more than a consolation.  Yes OK, after that dope linesman gave a horrible offside against Revs who would have gone through 1 on 1.  From that free kick they score.  But that was after a couple of Collin grasps low down at feet, after they'd scored when bloke who tapped in from Collins save called offside, and 60 seconds after that they should have scored when they hit a post.  The 2nd half was FAR from plain sailing.

I'm getting a bit sick of the defence bashing when it's blatantly obvious even to the average 7yr old fan what the problem is.  This is not sounding like deflection of the issues, its now starting to sound like a witch hunt.

Don't play Bowery ever again, he's utter dross

I don't know Arnason's mentality. Maybe he would thrive off being publicly lambasted. From an outsider looking in, it's cringeworthy.

Fair points.

Like you say ex, the main issue is attack, and despite (understandable) calls for bowery to start you note how poor he was (again) when given the chance.

Upshot is that none of our forwards are good enough for the poor penetrative football we play. In that sentence lies an oxymoron I think.

I agree that not putting enough clear chances away is the problem.

Arni will always have a mistake in him but we should live with that as he offers us so much otherwise.

I would guess that Evans feels Arni lives off his international status a bit and wants to keep his feet on the ground.

Remember Evans is a working class Glaswegian( I think) and they don't do subtle.
