Here are the bottom 6.

A great and deserved win for the millers over Brighton lifts everyone. Fulhan draw and wigan lose, but Millwall play in 3 days on Friday evening. IF Millwall lose the picture looks a little better for the millers going in to the last 5 games.

Moving down 19 Brighton 41 -5 45

Moving up 20 Fulham 41 -21 44

Moving down 21 Rotherham 41 -20 43

No movement 22 Millwall 40 -30 36

No movement 23 Wigan 41 -20 35

No movement 24 Blackpool 41 -48 25

So on Friday Fulham play Wigan, is a draw the best result for us or should we want Fulham to win and compound wigans position?

That's a great question, not sure, but my guess is that most people would say a win for fulham.

Personally a draw would suit me best, as that would keep both teams in the mire.

A win for Fulham on Friday would just about relegate Wigan.

Fulham v Wigan is a draw for me. Keeps most options open

Blackpool
Wigan
Millwall to get relegated, we finish 5th above Fulham

We finish the weekend 7 points clear.

Big games again midweek.

Fulham v millers

massive game Millwall v Wigan.

clearly there will be points for someone and thus we need something from the Fulham game.

Millwall have some opportunities coming up...thats a worry.

Is it shaping up for the last game of the season still?

I cant see millwall getting more than 4 points from the remainder of their games, Wigan maybe 3 from theirs, v Brighton.

So Im going with the same 3

Wigan

millwall

Blackpool

Well.., I think we can safely say that Blackpool and Wigan are down, but Millwalls win v Wigan puts them 4 points away and the very real possibility of being only 1 point adrift if, as we expect, we are docked 3 points.

here we go...

In our hands as the saying goes.

Brighton look very precarious and no wonder hughton is pressing for the points deduction as they have 2 extremely hard games.

Could they be relegated?

Assuming our points deduction and Brighton not picking up another point, we could be safe with 2 wins from the last 3 games.

Probability suggests that it's between ourselves and millwall. They will need 2 wins from the last 3 to have any hope of staying up.

Blacburn up next for millwall followed by a desperate derby county who will need a win to be certain of a play off spot.  The important factor may be the last game v wolves,  who we hope will be within a win of a  chance at the top six.

The Millers need to go unbeaten. Then we'll stay up.

millwall lose-we are close but for those darn points hanging over us. But, a win against Norwich and losses for Millwall and Wigan and I get to sleep with the fat lady.

MILLERS 43 -22 44

Millwall 44 -32 40
Wigan 44 -21 39
Blackpool 44 -54 25

All square with draws for millwall and millers in 2 incredible games against the top sides.
Wigan still have a chance as good as millwall and should not be written off.

Gap is 1 point with 2 to play for the millers and one each for millwall and wigan.

Tonight the bell starts ringing and won't stop till its settled.
