After yesterday, I hope Millwall go down without doubt, Balckpool are all but gone so that leaves Wigan who need to go on a Great run to avoid relegation.

Blackpool

Wigan

Millwall

 I agree with that sentiment.

Here is the table from last season to illustrate how Millwall turned over a 8 point deficit in 8 games to eventually finish 4 points above the bottom 3.

Well, that was a dismal display and a real let down considering where we are and the ordinary opposition.

Never got going and looked disinterested and all at sea. As poor a 90 minutes (and we have had several this season) as there has been.

We are a stuttering and somewhat bipolar team. No consistency has been the story and a lack of depth and quality looks more and more telling as we near the end of the race.

Do we have enough to just get over the line?

Will our stuttering form blow enough exhaust fumes out at the right time?

Will we have an engine failure or spin off on the corners?

We have one pit stop left when the international break comes but before that we have the best opportunity we have to put some seconds between us and the chasing pack.

The 1-3 loss to Cardiff may focus the team to put it right in testing this week or it could just be that we are a force India -Merc!

with 11 games to play we are 6 points above the drop.

Wigan and Millwall look certain now to be the 2 teams we are fighting with.

6 points is not enough until there's one game left.

The heat is well and truly on.

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines.

It will be a very tight finish at the rear end of this season.

It will be tighter than the stretchiest tights that a tight fisted trapeze artist can tie together.

It seems destined to go to the last game or 2.

There has never been a big gap over 35 games so I wouldn't expect it to be any different over the last quarter.

The wigan game is looking vital

I agree Ian that Tuesday was dire, and very cold maybe it was to be expected to get a below par performance after all that went on with the millwall game.

Wigan are getting a few handy results but can it go on? Every point the Millers get from now on will be a kick in the spuds for both millwall and Wigan. Dont rule out Fulham to the mix too smile

Blackpool

Wigan

millwall

Keep the faith!

Very true.

Anything positive for us will be a psychological mountain for wigan and Millwall; especially if we turn wigan over at home!

Still Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall by a country mile. No danger.

While I sort of agree with you Andy, let's not get over confident. The Cardiff game was a bit of a reality check for me. But then I've never been a pessimist, so the Miller's to stay up, I don't care who goes down.

I'll go along with that towd codger. Think there's more than the bottom 4 fighting against relegation, Fulham and Reading are two that spring immediately to mind.

Confidence and consistency. Two important ingredients every team needs in the locker.

A win today for the Millers will drag a host of Clubs back into the mix.  The pressure is beggining to build for all the Clubs in the bottom 8 or 9 wink

A most amazing turn of events.

Evans draft 2 new players in who have just one performance all season between them (this is March for goodness sake). They stay the pace.

Arnie is pushed in to his mythical midfield position for what can only be about a handful of times in 3 seasons.

Sammon scores a cracker and Arnie pokes one away after being denied by a wonder save before.

Wow!

That and all that; but also a win against a team we havent beat on their soil for like 3 billion years.

Thats entertainment. He certainly did it his way today.

Millers now 9 points clear with all below getting beat.
