All this hype about our "average' performance on saturday

Is not going to do us any good at all in the long run.

It was marginally better than Blackpool which was 'mediocre'.

Evans is trying to keep confidence high but in doing so has exaggerated an average display.

I can't believe how many other Millers fans are spouting a similar view.

This wasn't the 'total football'  of the '74 Dutch side.

It was average at best

Everyone has an opinion and not all will see it the same way m8 thats life wink

Theres been a change of style of play for the Millers and its early Days yet.  Rome wasnt built in a Day, Im sure even the Dutch of 74 and their Total Football needed time for it to work out smile

Give it time m8

Can't agree, we played against an expensive team and more than matched them. I think you need a reality check.

Let's try and get this in perspective. We outplayed one of the favourites for promotion on Saturday, restricting them to zero attempts at goal and making them look a very ordinary side. We on the other hand played some scintillating football at times and had one of our two or three good opportunities dropped in we would have been hailing this as a turning point. The fact that we hit the bar (again), the 'keeper saved with his toe end when diving the wrong way and the usually reliable Pringle spooned his shot form eight yards out was bad luck but if we play like this going forward I'm confident that we WILL start to win games and climb away form the trap door.

Keep the faith pal.

I know where you're coming from, but I think SE and The team deserve massive praise.

What an incredible turn around in 2 weeks. I'd say it's remarkable in any walk of life (individually for SE, and collectively as a team), to implement such a radical change in behaviour in that time span.

As to the quality, I would say it was a very good Rothetham united display. Given the level we are at, it has to rank highly.

The Dutch had some fantastic players and have said since that they did not so much as try to play "total" football as just played to their abilities.
