It's ironic that Sugartiler should mention Wendun on the day I heard the sad news of his demise. Not everyone's cup of tea I know - particularly those MM members he occasionally threatened to shoot. But a lifelong Miller and it takes all sorts. His sister still resides in Rotherham and may read these posts so try and be gracious. I knew the lad before the Wendun Plan set him on the slippery slope and he was about to start a new life as prospective UKIP candidate for Morecambe. Regrettably, fearful of an ebola outbreak he retired to his bunker with his pet parrot and sadly contracted bird flue. His last words were; 'F**k K***o; if he's a doctor I'm a .....' We'll never know what he meant.
T.Rex and my Clifton Park exploits may be long gone Kempo but they're still fresh in my head and it's as though it was only yesterday!
I've not read every post on here so I expected some kind person to fill me in with any gossip regarding "Wendun", but I was wrong so please accept my sincere apologies!

A tad tasteless re. poor old Wendum, sitting in his large house, (it has four bedrooms you know, plus extensive views), merely trying to keep his "We're all doomed!" complex under control, before retiring to his bunker, stockpiled with several million syringes containing anti-bird flu medication from a few years back.
I've been away from the Millers' fan forum scene for quite a while but I missed his Mr Chuckles personality, ever ready with a merry quip and a grudge. I've always had a soft spot for those who don't take themselves too seriously & believe that Wendun's postings contain some of the finest parodies around.
Once I'm able to log on to MillersMad I'll see if he's around on there. What was his latest user name, Kempo? The old lad has had quite a few down the years.
Actually, CTMiller probably knows. I had a quick drink with him the other Sunday and discovered one of his hobbies is tracking down the real people behind the posters' names. The stuff he told me about Clar, Zilzal and Froggy would have any Sunday tabloid editor reaching for his cheque book...

I don't think I suggested you'd posted under more than one user name in the past on MillersMad, Kempo, although I'm certain the person-formerly-known-as-Wendun is guilty of that.
As for Zilzal, if he will try to pass himself off as an authentic East Dene lad (Villa has been keeping me posted) I'll have to set him another East Dene quiz over on MillersMad - he ducked the last one. Plus, he has an obsession with knocking two people who did much to keep the Millers on an even keel in the 1950s & 60s, through to Anton Johnson's time. And don't get him started on the selling of Hugh McIlmoyle - I believe he visits his statue in carlisle at least once a year.
CTMiller's an interesting cove, and his fascination for the real identies of the people hidden behind their user names on MillersMad is very real. Perhaps his other hobbies (I wish I could tell you more of one of them but I'm sworn to secrecy: CTM fears he would be subject of much banter if it were revealed) don't use up enough of his time.
If your account at MillersMad has been blocked then that's a shame. The comments on here about Deano, who I gather has been off for an operation, and Big Rich, plus CAM, won't help in improving the relations between what should be friendly sites for followers of RUFC. Perhaps a graceful apology, and no snide comments on this "fresh start" site might help your cause.

BigRich's correct - it is just a message board supposedly concerned with football & RUFC specifically, nothing more. Nothing important, anyway.
Although the Millers mean a lot to we supporters, in the grand scheme of things a football club in a second tier division, in maybe the third/fourth (after Italy, Spain & Germany maybe?) best league in the world, means diddly-squat. Try telling people fleeing Syria, or getting beheaded by IS that's it's important.
So, everyone get off their high-horses, try to be civil to each other and let's get on with things.
