'Moved On' - but I bet he's smiling the most now & even more so after Cardiff do us over.

Mange us or manage Cardiff? - I know who's done best out of that amazing day at Wembley - isn't football a strange business?

We have to remember Cardiff are in the same league as us, we are there on merit and they are in this league because the weren't good enough in prem league. Yes they are a bigger club than us but it's eleven v eleven and sometimes the big guns lose to he minnows. Let's hope the same happens tomorrow.

enjoy your visit to wales tomorrow and fingers crossed its a victorious one UTM

Yes slade has deservedly been given this wonderful chance and pay packet that is the stuff of dreams. Mind u SE hasn't done too bad either.

That aside this is one game where pride really has an edge and both men will probably feel this more than the supporters as orient aren't involved.

SE is a real warrior though and I'd back him to get something out of any fight when it really matters to him.

Felt very sorry for orient and slade. They were a good side and it was oh so close.

Agreed, Ian.

If Orient could have closed us down in the first 10 minutes of the Wembley second half, we'd be playing Sheff Utd and Bradford now. A wonder strike and a defensive error did for them and it always felt as though we'd win on pens after that.

Slade has an impressive career, working wonders mostly on very limited resources, and deserves his chance at a bigger club with a decent crowd base and budget. He was treated very shabbily by the new Orient regime.

I'd rather have our Chairman than his though...

You dont always get what you deserve in football but when Opportunity Knocks you have to make the best of it. Its good to see a lower league Manager get such a job, in the end biggrin

Slade seems to be a good Man but I hope he's not celebrating come 5 O'clock tonight biggrin
