I'm in the MD camp. I know the stats don't make sense of it, but I think he is actually really very good at this level.
He may turn out to be a good player in the wrong team but I still think he hasn't past his best before and we could yet see a return for his excellent all round play.
Agree that bowery also looks effective, but I just like MD in my team.
The one niggling issue is MD has caught many an eye (look at his record) , but never been the bride.
Intelligent he may be but he's never been prolific in front of goal. We need the midfielders to feed off and anticipate his forward play and we may get more goals. Should start against Cardiff
He provided an excellent header for JCH so maybe he should be given an extended run. For me though, I'm far from convinced. Surely and hopefully it is only a confidence thing. I'm told he scores freely for reserves and plays well. Does that suggest he struggles at Championship level. I think he does but hope he can show everyone otherwise
