With all the ins and outs one thing is for sure, we dont know all the facts behind wages, fees and what players want etc so I will go along with Steve Evans moves and see where it gets us, hes not done bad upto yet, Championship Footy aint that Bad
It all sounds a bit like Groundhog Day to me, people tearing SE's actions apart before in the end the Millers gaining promotion, twice, and in the end the people who knocked SE and his transfers/loans looking very foolish. Anyone remember Nards departure?
This whole Championship thing is new to all of us, Chairma, manager, Players (this time round) so a period of settling in and of adjustment should have been expected.
Lets not give up on what the Millers are trying to do just yet
sound point.
cant help but notice the similarity's to last season at this stage. wing back and centre forward from similar stock and midfielder.
obviously still plugging the gap in one sense.
tavs and vuckic from last campaign and smallwood.
Yes and who had heard of any of those three before we took them on loan? All three were quality and inspired the other players around them. Lets hope the same happens this time around
Like everyone else..I find it difficult to follow Steve's thinking re his player churn but what I do know is that he has a fantastic record of success and he has always used this approach.
I am confident that he will get us up the table eventually.
If it aint working he certainly changes things and I hope he will change the long ball with the new players.
People should stop worrying and criticising his methods..thats up to TS to discuss with him which Im sure he will have.
Onward and upwards..mid table will win me a lot of cash so I remain optimistic.
Keep the support of Evans going and dont get on his back.
We have so missed Tavs and Agard and in turn, our RHS had gone, not to mention our goal fest. Perhaps with the new signings, we can get both sides moving forward at pace now. Prings can't do it alone and he may flourish once more now. I like Smallwood.
Wouldn't mind a "Gerry Gow" sort of player in midfield though. Would have to be quicker these days but in Gerry Gow you did have a player that took no prisoners and he let the opposition know who owned the middle of the park.
Let's hope SE has got it right this time because our Champs status depends on it I think.

Totally agree.
I really like the look of the 'new shape' and to top it off we need someone just a tad more mobile and able to retrieve the ball and drive it forward although green and Smallwood did a fair job Saturday. ..still, not quite at the required disposition of the kind of player we are thinking of
