Skarz - a consistent performer now thinking he's not good enough? - Can only see James playing, does he really want to risk peeing off another PL giant by taking on a kid and not playing them?
I really don't understand the thinking behind this. Are there really no left / right wingers / strikers out there available to loan with pace? & seriously do we really need any more loan players when we're over bloated anyway.
I refer to my previous statement that I think SE has lost it, I really do
He wants to introduce much needed pace into the side and it appears that this lad has pace.
Skarz has done a great job for us but is a bit slow for this level... we need to replace him Im sorry to say.
I dont know anything about the lad but if he is respected at Man U then thats good enough for me.
My only complaint at SE is playing the long ball for 90 minutes...I hope the 2 signings and the expected next one are part of his plans to change tactics...lets hope so.
darren bent joins brighton we sign a left sided player that could only play 1 game for a league 2 team last year and let another left sided player go out on loan
I think we cant have it both ways. Skarz has been consistent, but I have also been consistent in thinking he does not actually bring anything to the team. In the modern game the full backs (wing backs) are absolutely influential and skarz gets up and down much less than most full backs we have had. for example; Brindley, wilson, hunt, Bradley, tonge, harris, et al, despite their other flaws all got forward more then skarz.
Skarz is reliable, but he is not evolution.

Exeter the answer to your question is the financial fair play rules. We have to operate within them, hence the wage budget and restrictions. We have seen the type of players we can then sign and that is not working. So the other options are increase sponsorship and turnover to enable the budget to increase under the FFP rules and there is plenty of evidence that we are trying to do this. e.g. the stadium naming rights deal.
The second option is to sign youth development players from premier league clubs, the wages we pay will be within our budget and if we pick the right ones, they will help inject the quality that we need.
With all the ins and outs one thing is for sure, we dont know all the facts behind wages, fees and what players want etc so I will go along with Steve Evans moves and see where it gets us, hes not done bad upto yet, Championship Footy aint that Bad
It all sounds a bit like Groundhog Day to me, people tearing SE's actions apart before in the end the Millers gaining promotion, twice, and in the end the people who knocked SE and his transfers/loans looking very foolish. Anyone remember Nards departure?
This whole Championship thing is new to all of us, Chairma, manager, Players (this time round) so a period of settling in and of adjustment should have been expected.
Lets not give up on what the Millers are trying to do just yet
