Talking to a brum fan yesterday and he said they had only paid 250K for two players,the rest free/bosmans etc..Their wage cap was 5K p/w except for Donaldson-8K. Makes you think.
What is a realistic wage for a club like us to pay? If we average 9k at home (average ticket price of £18) the gate money will only generate about 3.5 mil. Is it correct to have a wage cap or should we pay the going rate for a player of that given quality?
