I agree. Millersmad has been brilliant over the years ever since I started regularly reading in 2005. The last few years it has really started to get more Clique.

Coupled with the fact that it is still in the dark ages of modern message boards, I really think it is only going to go downhill unless the MAD network sort their act out.

The fact that you can post videos and embed audio onto your message here is already a pleasing step. Coupled with the easy interface, simple look and ability to tweak and add features as we please.

Very well done Exeter and I hope many more of the MAD hard hitters move across as I really think a site for the fans, run by the fans is the way to go. I still check MAD partly out of habit, but I am hoping this will become the regular stomping ground from now on.

Have to agree one of the reasons I stopped posting was some of the nastiness that started to appear. Although I don't always agree with him I thought Kempo was constantly abused and it really wasn't necessary. I also thought there were heaps of trolls with political agendas who were deliberately stirring the pot. Having not been in Rotherham for over 10 years I am aware that the ethnic mix has undergone some major changes and I too do not care for Muslim fundamentalism, or in fact any fundamentalism. However the stereotyping, hatred and scaremongering was frightening and at times extremely unpleasant. Don't mind discussing these issues but in a balanced way. This board has a much better feel to it.

Welcome to the board sickly....It's all started very well and hopefully the good posters will come over from MM when they see the better quality of posting on here.

Hopefully a bit more banter will be introduced on here but controlled and respectful unlike MM.

Daft Miller...I can't guarantee perfect behaviour but you certainly won't see me abusing anyone on here.

Personally I would like the off topic to develop a bit more but agree with sickly that some of the extreme content of MM is not wanted on here.

Exeter has done a great job to be fair and I'm hopeful that the site will continue its development and membership will steadily grow.

Early days yet - I'm sure as it grows it will become more interesting. The site is technically streets ahead of MM and allows us to do so much more, I'm sure when people have a peek they'll see the appeal. Just need all our members to shout about it on facebook, twitter etc as much as they can. (I'm doing all the other search engine optimisation stuff)

Today we will pass 50,000 page views in 2 weeks, which is a brilliant start. Although not good for the pocket as the package is limited to 100,000 for the month so it looks like I'll need to upgrade! - but again this upgrade is needed before I envisaged so is excellent.
