Premier League footballers now earn a record £2.3million a year each on average, or £43,717 a week, giving them wages almost 60 per cent bigger in 2014 than their closest earnings rivals in Germany's Bundesliga

And the Championship is at number 8 in the world league for pay!

How many years would you have to work to earn that amount ?,2yrs to earn what they do in a week

Most averages earners in an entire life time of work of 30-40 years at 40+ hours per week will never get near what a second tier footballer earns on a moderate 5 year career.
