The only one i can think of from that team we got from Huddersfield was ROBERT WILSON ex Fulham.

Chris Hutchings played for Huddersfield but we got him from Walsall.

If Wilson's correct, then i never knew he was a R.O.I international.

On the contrary pal, i'm loving taxing the old grey matter.

1....BORN IN LIVERPOOL

2....PLAYED IN THE SAME YOUTH TEAM AS STEVE HEIGHWAY

3....PLAYED IN BOTH LEGS OF A LEAGUE CUP SEMI FINAL IN THE 1970'S

4....MUST'VE LOVED THE SEASIDE AIR AS HE PLIED HIS TRADE IN SOUTHPORT, CLEETHORPES AND RHYL.

i'm off out family visiting shortly so any q or a's wont be seen while this evening.

Impressed with the quick answer there pal....well done, it was indeed Norman Whitehead.

Played for Skelmersdale United as a youth as did Liverpool legend Steve Heighway and amazingly helped 4th Division Chester to the League Cup semi-final in 1974-75, losing narrowly over 2 legs to eventual winners Aston Villa.

The semi-final run included a stunning 3-0 win over the reigning League Champions Leeds United at Sealand Road.

Over to you Adventus for the next one, i'm off out now, bye till then.

In that case I'll have a stab at Garry Martindale, (not confident here)

If correct, I didn't realise he played under Keegan or Phil Neal.

Go on Zip tell me I am barking up the wrong tree!

Mike Jeffrey is right pal, played under Phil Neal at Bolton.

Was gonna put that he played in Holland (Fortuna Sittard) but thought that would've given it away too easy.

Nice one, your go.
