the edit does it Adventus, Rotherham lad Nigel Pepper.

The day after I set this question, I logged into MM to see NP being discussed in a thread, and thought, marvellous, he's not been mentioned anywhere for years, what timing 😀

Over to you Adventus.

1. Defender born in 1971

2. During his playing (14 year?) career spent 3 different spells at one club and 2 in another

3. Only received 3 yellow cards throughout his whole career (apparently!)

4. Amazingly made an appearance in the UEFA cup against Athletico Madrid no

5. Currently swaps his day job in the food industry with management!

Well I have to say that after a lot of digging and delving into research, I think it could be Julian Watts because he had 3 spells at Leicester  and 2 spells at our friends at swillsborough.

I also think he has a company called Shirebrook food company or something like that!

Go on tell me I am right........

^^^ Fair play that - correct!

It was a real toughy, well done Exeter mate!

How about this one then..............

1,Another defender,
2,Was a record signing for us at the time.
3, Was a record signing for another club commanding a fee in excess of £700,000
4, He missed out on UEFA cup football because of the ban on English clubs following the Heysel disaster.

That's it for now.

Watts and Hodges in Central Defence for the reserves, enjoyable Days.  Those two looked good and Hodges looked to be the better one for the future before he got injured. Two very good young players at the time.
