I think it's great that you and Elliot have both had the motivation to create a new board that doesn't punch you in the face with adds but rather than having two competing boards that will split the MM community maybe you should both get together and work on something that will be a great alternative. I like the fact that Elliot carried over the MM post count for example.

Just a thought.

That's a good shout re the post count, just looking into if that can be sorted.

Not sure about going in with Elliot as I don't know the chap, also I prefer this site to the other one! - agree though, I don't want to split the MM community. I suppose if this thing takes off people will decide for themselves.

I have a clear goal of what I want to do, whether it gets there I dunno. At the minute, it's minimising risk. The site is on a rolling monthly contract and the domain name millersbanter.co.uk cost peanuts. If it takes off and users come in and like it then we can all have input into what we want to do with it. 5000 people can have a very powerful voice!

Another little idea Exeter, could we have a button at the bottom of the topics to return to the forum home. It save saving to scroll back to the top of the page, especially when there are a load of replies. __________________

Good on you Exeter for Biting the Bullet and starting this Board up. I hope you have a way of limiting the Multis and riff-raff so as to keep the board clean of drivel. All the Best for the future and dont let the knockers get you down. The two new Boards are like Betamax and VHS there will only be one winner, my money is here __________________
