Sean Morrison,32 and not played since Feb 2022 signs for the millers. A 6ft 4in leader of men who is a no nonsense centre half. He also possesses a long throw. I make that 12 players who can play in a back four or part of a 3.5.2 formation as either in the back three or at wing back.
i believe we are woefully short in the centre of midfield. Only Lindsay, Barlaser, Rathbone and Odoffin play in that role. I would argue Odoffin is not up to this league. Not sure Lindsay is but he can rat and Barlaser could possibly be going elsewhere.
We are also short up front. Kelly and Eaves are out injured .That leaves Washington and Ogbene. Not sure either are good enough in that role.
Taylor needs bodies in and bodies out. Morrison is a right footed centre back who i believe will go straight in on Saturday. It looks like he has little faith in Bola, McCart and possibly Wood and Peltier. He has plenty of choices in defence but getting the right combination is another matter.
I think we need at least two central midfield players and two strikers at the very least. We have four or five players who can play left back/left wing back, but not sure Taylor believes any are good enough for this league. Surely any of Bola, McCart, Ferguson or Bramhall will go on loan or sold. If we can get two out then we need to sign another.
I really feel for Taylor as i think he has little in the offensive area. I hope some money is made available to get a striker in because without one his chances are virtually none of keeping us up imo.

i think bola has been unlucky having warne as his manager and with injuries. i keep why oh why did warbe sign eaves aka non jumping donkey. matt taylor has a lot.to do and not much time made worse by injuries real or fake (ogbene). if he want to go let him thinks he is better than he is brentford let him go and they were on the on the up.
